Care information
Due to its delicate nature, care should be taken to protect the scroll from the elements and should only be opened and checked by a competent Sofer. This should happen twice in seven years. The mezuza case can be cleaned using warm water and soap but should at no point remain submerged. Should the enclosed mounting tabs no longer adhere properly, they can be easily replaced with new ones and will not leave a sticky residue on the doorway or the mezuza case.
